Success By Steps Early Learning Academy was born out of a deep passion for caring—not just for children, but for families as a whole. It all started in Columbia, South Carolina, when our founder, Tiffany Johnson, began helping nearby families by watching their little ones in her home in 2015. Her obedience to God quickly grew as word spread about the loving, reliable care she provided.

As more families reached out, it became clear that this work was more than just a temporary helping hand—it was a purpose. With that in mind, she took the steps in 2017 to become open a dedicated learning space, and built a team of educators and caregivers who share her vision.

At Success By Steps, we believe in nurturing the whole family. We understand that when families feel supported, children thrive. That’s why we focus not just on early learning and child development, but also on building strong relationships with parents and caregivers. Whether it’s through open communication, community connections, or a little extra encouragement during busy seasons of life, we’re here for the entire journey.

Tiffany’s heart for families is apparent after nearly two decades of service. “I’ve always said, I’m not just here for the child—I’m here for the family. If I can support the parent, I know I’m helping that child in a bigger way.”
